Ok let me just say that when I first saw Summer in her bridal ensemble I was like “OH YES!!”.  She looked stunning!  From her custom gown to her awesome feathery hairpiece, she looked like she walked right out of a bridal magazine.  Her and Allan were married last weekend and I have been hanging on to these long enough!

I big thank you to Michelle, Summer’s Matron of Honor, who was a huge help and so fun to have along!  Hope you love as much as I do.

I had been looking forward to Patrick and Brooke’s wedding for a long time.  When she  emailed me a photo of her dress I knew it was going to be beautiful!  I loved her details, and I feel like her florist, DiFiori was a great match for her impeccable taste.  The ladies at Sweet Pea did such an outstanding job!  Loved them!

Soulmates.  Anyone that spends 2 minutes with Eric and Carolyn will agree.

I always love getting to know my couples and using the chemistry between them to make pretty photos together, but there was something in their story that really touched my heart and I was all teary eyed after hearing it.  All I can say its that God has his own perfect timing, you know?

During one of speeches given during the reception I remember one of them saying how Kassi always hoped she would find her own country boy.  That’s exactly what she found in DJ!  I must also add that Fredericksburg is a pretty awesome place!  We only got to explore the downtown area for a little bit but I’m thinking I need to go back soon.  It was the perfect setting for these two!Kassi’s Boots.

I have been patiently waiting to show you Mindy’s bridal at the McKinney Cotton Mill.  The setting was perfect for what she had in mind and she even brought in this fabulous chaise.  I love the images we made and it was great seeing one of my favorite past brides Jessa who is a good friend of Mindy’s and came along to help.

 …and a quick preview from their wedding this past weekend at The Winfield Inn.

I first met Cristen at Daniel & Kassi‘s wedding and when she mentioned she was about to graduate from UNT and wanted her portrait done I was like, yes please.  She is just this beautiful person inside and out and after seeing her work I can not wait to see where her career takes her.  I would love to have one her pieces on my walls.  Seriously.

We were so excited to get to photograph David & Karen’s wedding at the Dallas Museum of Art.  Not only are they an amazing couple, but we really loved working with their fab coordination Paige Chenault.  Every detail was perfect and it was a gorgeous day!

When I first met Dustin & Lauren and they told me the vision they had for their wedding, engagement and her upcoming bridal session I was doing a little happy dance (on the inside!) so excited to get to work with them.  They are so sweetly in love with each other and they really want their portraits and their wedding day to reflect that.  I am so happy to share these because I love these two and I’m looking forward to making many more sweet images together!

I remember the first time I met Billy & Damaris I thought oh my word, it is not fair to be that pretty!  And then I got to know them and realized they are each more beautiful in the inside than on the outside.  I can’t believe its been more than a year now since then and I have loved working with them and with Damaris mom (Hi Dana!) through the wedding preparations.  Their wedding was perrr-fect!  Held at Ashton Gardens in Corinth, it was such the perfect setting for their many family and friends. Flowers by one of my faves, Robin at Di Fiori.

Love!  Catching the groom watching his bride walking towards him is one of my favorite moments.  As soon as Damaris started walking towards Billy, his parents and grandparents all try to get a peek at her too.  It was so sweet and funny and just a priceless moment that I will never forget.

I have no idea what Damaris’s grandmother was reciting and saying in their native Romanian, but I may have teared up too…

I knew when I took this that I would love it A LOT.  I do.
